Delayed Distribution Demand in SNP interactive planning

Former Member

Dear Guru,

I am facing a problem in APO SNP concerning delayed Distribution Demand in the interactive planning and I would highly appreciate some help.

We are loading orders from R3 to APO SNP via XI. We use Idocs (type POAPS_SAVEMULTIPLE2).

The BAPI called by APO to load the Idocs is BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1 (which calls IDOC_INPUT_POAPS_SAVEMULTI2 and also BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3).

The sending and the receiving locations are SNP markets.

The problem is that everytime, the availability/requirements date of the distribution demand is delayed of one week in the Sending location view.

In the receiving location view, the availability/requirements date of the distribution receipt is correct (Requested date + transportation Lead Time).

Have you got any idea of the reason of this ?

Thank you very much for your answer.

Hi,

I made some tests and it seems that this situation always appears when there are several means of transport between the sending location and the receiving location.

But I still don't understand how the delay is calculated...

Hi Fabien,

What is the smallest bucket in your planning area?

Hi Alper,

the storage bucket profile is 9ASNP with a smallest bucket of 1 day for the 1st 3weeks, and after the bucket is 1week for the remaining 7weeks

Hi,

Where do you have problems? In the first 3 weeks or after the first 3 weeks?

Hi,

Actually, on both periods.

I noticed that it is using information from the 2 means of transport in order to calculate the availability dates :

receiving location date = Order requested date + transport Lead Time #1

sending location date = receiving location date - transport Lead Time #2

Hi,

Have you checked if the source and target locations have shipping and receiving calendars?

Have you tried to deactivate, for example, the second means of transport in the transportation lane and then to load the orders?

Thank you Alper,

I desactivated the unnecessary transportation mean and successfully loaded the orders.

Thanks
