Automatic "Shipping Type" and "Forwarding Agent" from Route to Sales Order

Need some help...

When creating a Sales Order, the field "Shipping type" (inside Shipping tab of the Item Level) and the Forwarding Agent (Partners tab) should be automatically get from the configuration made for the Route applied in the order, via SAP Standard Functionality.

The Route is being automatically determined in the Sales Order and for this Route, there is a "Shipping Type" and a "Freight Agent" assigned.

If you found a way to copy the shipping type from the route tinto the sales order line please share with me. i am facing the excat same problem.

Hello Friend,

Go to T.code 0VTC and in Route Determination select your Route and double click to go in detail screen and there you will get Shipping Type Tab and enter the defined Shipping Type relevant for you and enter the Forwarding Agent Number in Service agent Tab and save it.Once that concerned route is determined in the order along with that automatically the Shipping Type assigned with that also will appear in the sales document.

Hello again.

I already have assigned a shipping type and a forwarding agent to the route (via 0VTC), but when creating the sales order, those values are not being "transfered" into the sales document, although this same route has been automatically determined in the order.

Is there something else that I should do / configure to make it work.

Hi Carlos,

If my understanding is right, then you want this thing because you need to get these two things automatically determined in your shipment {as these things will get copied from sales order to delivery and subsequently to the shipment in which that delivery goes}.. right? If yes, then as far as I know this can't be acheived, as every time we will have to enter shipping type & forwarding agent in the shipment.

Anyways, I will look in some other way if this can be achieved or not and reply back.

Actually, those informations have to be available in the delivery.

The idea is that the customer organizes all his operations (picking, packing, loading and tranportation processes) based on deliveries that will be transported by the same agent and using the same shipping type.

As I assigned an agent and a shipping type in the route, I expected to get these values automatically in the Sales Order, and consequently in the delivery.
