Hello R N Swamy,
The test mode is shown so that it is easy to identify that this is a test system. Also when you are in test mode, it is possible to delete test data when switching to productive. From productive mode, you can not delete transaction data.
The test mode has nothing to do with the connection of SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager. When you connection shows "Action executed successfully" that means that your SAP Customer Checkout is successfully connected to SAP Customer Checkout manager.
Which features you want to use between this connection, you can select in the same page. High-lighted in screenshot below.

Issue resolved after changing Current status in Lifecycle. Configuration-->About-->Lifecycle
