Planned and Actual Costing

Dear All,

The business buy few items where the purchase cost is unknown. Eg: windows, customer can order this in different size and shapes so it's not possible to maintain a purchase price for this on the material master.

When a sales quotation is created the planning price will drop in from the material master data. Which will be £ 0.01. They will create the quotation with the actual price using pricing condition.

Is there any way to copy this price to the planned price or is there any other better solution for this type of business.

I recommended the planned price field in the material master but this will also have the problem if two users are making sales order for the same material.

For the Planned price you can use the Costing View. which have three fields to enter the prices.
