Regarding Master Data And Model Management in SAP IBP

Hi Experts,

I am learner for SAP IBP, i know how to modify the existing templates delivered by SAP but any book or online source available to know how configure the master data , dimensions and model in IBP at starting of the project AND what all are the steps to configure or change the master data ? how to load transaction data ?

Hi Anna,

Thanks and Yes i am waiting for my company approval as its project requirement to do the training, Please let me know as i can see IBP300 and IBP700 is also there what its meant for ? which one will be good for me to have training IBP200 -----or IBP.....?

Hi Ravi,

I would start with IBP200 which provides you with most that you need to know about configuration and data models in IBP. IBP 300 is Advanced Configuration that talks about spezialized topics but you need to have the overall concept understood for this.

And then IBP400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 are then talking about the specific business areas such as supply planning and the respective focussed configuration. But you would need the IBP200 from my perspective in case you have never worked with IBP before and from your first question/introduction, that was my assumption.
