Anybody can please explain the solution.

hi Richie,

I tried to understand your question. When you create an appraisal template, in the column tab, which ID do you select? In that tab, there are information like Final appraisal, input options, value determination, dynamic setting etc.

While in the next tab, "column access", there are few field you need to maintain which is column (at least you will have final appraisal), column owner, final appraisal owner, and other final appraisal.

PAPP is for part appraisal, FAPP is for Final Appraisal, OBJO is for objective settings.

Not sure about your questions. Here are some note I get from SAP.

___________________________________________________________

Column Access

You can define which roles (for example, employees or managers) involved in the appraisal process can access which columns during a particular phase of the appraisal process. The roles involved in the appraisal process can either be the owner of a column, or another user (abbreviation: other). You can define the type of column access (for example, change access) for owners and others for each process phase.

The column access specified for the Part Appraisal (PAPP) and Final Appraisal (FAPP) columns is possible for appraisals with the following statuses:

In Process

Completed

Approved

Rejected

To define column access, proceed as follows:

In the Default field, select the type of column access that you want to define (for example, standard settings).

Select Default Access.

Under Column Access, the system proposes the access authorizations for the column owner and all other users for each appraisal phase and column. You can accept this proposal or change the proposal for individual cells, that is combinations of column and column owner, or column and owner <Phase>, or column and other <Phase>.

Save the proposal or your entries.

Note

All objective setting columns (OBJ* and QBJ*) are grouped together in the Objective Setting column.

The Part Appraisal (PAPP) and Part Appraisal Importance (PWGT)columns are grouped together in the Part Appraisal (PAPP) column. This is because the system always processes the corresponding columns together.

If a user is the the column owner of the Objective Setting (OBJO) column during a particular phase, he or she can use the Free Enhancement functions.

For more information, see the Layout tab page and select the Add New Element or Add Qualification information button.

If this column is not available, the system checks whether the user is the owner of the Final Appraisal (FAPP) column. If the user is the column owner, he or she can use the Free Enhancement functions during the relevant phase.
