Accounts Category Reference.

Dear Experts,

When i add another material type, there is one option is no reference accounts category i want to set up, could teach me how to add another category reference accounts, this category accounts "reference" belong to that a module?

Hi There,

You can assign one material type to one account category reference and vice versa, not more than that.

For that you will first have to create the account category reference in OMSK.

Then assign the same in OMSK to the valuation class and to the respective material type.

You define the material type in OMS2 there you can put the account category refrence for the material master data.

Hopefully it clarifies your doubt.

see for the account category reference is only to determine the valuation class in the material master. so u can define u r own account category reference and assign it to the new valuation class. for which new g/l account can be assigned. hope this will solve the problem.

Each material type can be assigned to a single acct category reference through OMSK/OMS2.
