KUT fields confusion for .REF file in C4C for transferring and coding on the same

Dear All,

In our project we have 3 tenants, D-Q-P. and All the KUT fields have been created only on Q. Now based on 1 KUT field I have to write some logic in SDK but definitely that will be done on D. So do I have to create each KUT field created in Q again on D or is there any better way to transport this from Q to D! 😛

And in general how all the adaptation and cut field gets moved to across the tenants?

SDK is simple but this is confusing , and also one of the reason I am posting this is after doing this in my code I will be referring to KUT fields and I hope while again deploying the solution from D to Q,it won't throw any error.

So Kindly guide me how do I copy or transport all the KUT fields to one tenant to another in this case Q to D.

Hi Anant,

I did the same as shown now our system in unresponsive and when I try to log in from SDK to our dev system I am getting an runtime exception - dump. How can i reach to emergency contact for this to SAP , Since entire Dev system is not accessible any more. We created an Incident from our Q system since we are not able to access D.

the incident number is 3500425862 if you can forward it or if u can have a look that would be really helfull.

did you try export:import layout? Use export in source tenant firall layouts or master layout only and then import in target tenant.

I think this is the easiest way.
