Former Member

Dear All,

I have 2 FG mats A & B to produce both A & B I need 1 SG C & 1 RM D.

Now if i run MRP for both FG A & B System is creating only 1 planned order & 1 Purchase requisition with qty required to produce both FG.

But my client wants,If run MRP for 2 FGs system should create 2 different Planned Orders & 2 different Purchase requistions for FG mats.

For this what setting i need to do?

How to get 2 planned orders & purchase requisitions?

Thanks & regards

Basavaraj

Hi,

Unless you don't use the MTO scenario, this is not possible.

Even though you maintain the lot size as "EX", system will plan daily and groups requirement quantities from the same day together in one procurement proposal.

There is no other go..

Siva

Hi,

Refer the OSS Note: 550568

Here is the extract:

6. Question:

There are several requirements on one day. Is it possible that the MRP creates a separate procurement proposal for every requirement?

Answer:

Just as for the daily lot size with number of periods = 1 (lot size TB), requirements of one dayare also combined to one procurement proposal for the lot-for-lot order quantities (lot size EX) (see documentation for lot-for-lot order quantity). Separate procurement proposals can only be achieved if you work with make-to-order production. Here, the requirements are managed in separate planning segments of the stock/requirements list.

Hope this helps..

Hi,

Maintain lot size as EX in mrp - 1, & indiv-coll indicator as 1 in mrp-4 view of the mtl. master. Re-run MRP with planning mode as 3

Check & revert.

Agree with Mr. Siva above settings works if the need dates are different.
