DOCTYP and IDOCTP fields are empty

Hi ppl,

I am creating a sales order in va01 and im trying to trigger an idoc. I get this message 'DOCTYP and IDOCTP fields are empty' in the processing log. What do i do ? I have configured the partner type in we02. Please help
