QA07 NOT Blocking EXPIRED batches

Hello All,

We need to block batch with SLED passed but unable to do so from QA07.

All master data is set, It creates 09 lots on next inspection date.

Issue occurs for batches that are expired.

In my testing i observed that it will work if I enter SLED for today. This is the only time it will block expired batches if SLED is running date.

Hello All,

I was able to solve this issue.

Movement type has a check that restricts movement of expired batches.

In this case, movement type 344 wwas required to assign "3" i.e. no check at GI and then it posted material to BLOCK state.

To Add,

In QA07 I am entering Material, plant and batch.

Checking Lot creation only (default) and Block batch box which i think is mandatory for my requirement.

09 lot active as lots are getting created. Stock is present in unresticted.

Error i get is

Best before date/SLED 15.01.2014 of batchXXXX has been exceeded
