MDM-EP -> Not getting repository while creating a MDM system in EP

Hi All,

I am creating MDM system in EP.

It is MDM 5.5 SP6 and EP is 7.0

While creating the system , after adding the server(host name) of the MDM system , I am not getting any repository of the MDM server.

I have started the MDM service.

Any pointers why?

Hi Shilpa,

Please check the below:

Defining a System to access MDM Repository through Portal

Deploy the below files, which you will find with the downloads of the MDM Server. They must be compatible with the MDM version.

1. BPMDMAPPLI04_1.SCA ---APPLICATION FILE

2. BPMDMTECHN04_1.SCA-----TECH FILE

3. MDMJAVAAPI04_1.SCA----MDM JAVA API FILE

Hi Shilpa,

Make sure you restart the Portal services after reinstalling the correct sca files.

After the correct sca files are installed and your portal services are restarted make sure your MDM server is started and mounted and the concerned repository is loaded.

Hi Shilpa,

Check the two things:

1. Repository is loaded and in running state

2. Vesrion of SCA files are compatible with that of MDM Server version

Try checking connecting MDM server and check whether the repsoitory is loaded or not.Refer the following link

The only problem is the incompatible version of the three sca files MDMJAVAAPI

BPMDMAPPLI and BPMDMTECHN.Check for the versions and reinstall the files of the exact versions.

Where should I get these files from - MDM server?

Please give me the path for getting these files.

You l get these files at service market place

or if u hav the MDM software u wud have it with the the entire MDM package in portal content.

Please check whether the repostiory is connected or not in the server. Then only it is visible in the EP.
