Is there a way to ignore components ?

Hello,

We have just put Payroll Control Center on our DEV system. We used the Rapid Deployment tools and now have 3 new components, that had to be deployed, on our DEV system. The trouble is, when we release transports and then try to import them into our QA system it errors with a component mismatch.

Now PCC is deployed, we can transport it to QA and Live, so we don't need to deploy the components on either of those systems.

Obviously we can just tick the ignore mismatch option or switch the checks off completely, but obviously if there are other instances where components differ we won't then see that.

My question really is, is there any way to tell STMS to ignore those extra components in it's checks ?

I'm guessing the answer is likely no, but thought I'd ask.

I'd rather not deploy the components to the other systems as they serve no purpose..... shame I can't uninstall them now PCC is deployed.

Thank you

Hi Daniel,

I think it is the note 1688610 - TMS import queue warning message : Does not match component version or Checking components of the requests that you are looking for.
