Need some expert advice on Open ODS view transport error: Adapter &1 (&2) has no implementation.

Hi All,

We are currently on SAP BW 7.40 SP18 and created Open ODS view which is based on HANA calculation view.

ODS view was created successfully and is working as expected in Dev environment.

However when I try to Transport ODS view to further environment, we are seeing the following error:

Adapter "HANA view name" (HDB) has no implementation

Source field XXX does not exist

I have checked the SDN and found some notes below however this is for older version of Support package and since we are already on higher version this issue should have been resolved.

2043320 - Open ODS view: RSLOGSYSMAP in after import

Kindly let me know if we are missing something here or any alternate solution for the same.

Update 1: Adding Further I would like to highlight that Open ODS is moved to QA and I could display data however 'DB Object schema' is blank and in Facts tab source fields are blanks.

So not sure how it is reading the Calc View used in Open ODS to show the values!!

Any inputs on how to resolve this Open ODS view transport will be much appreciated. We need to fix this the issue urgently to address production issue causing incorrect numbers in the report.

We are facing the same issue. Cannot get it out from the DEV where everything works correctly.

Could you please tell what was the solution to get it into QA?

Would you be so kind and tell if you have managed to fix this issue?

Do you transport a Cacl.View to QA? If not then do this with t-code SCTS_HTA.

Hi,

The solution is to create _SYS_BIC Source System on DEV-QA-PROD,

Then to transport Calculation Views to the target,

Then to create and transport Open ODS view on _SYS_BIC SS to the target,

Then to transport Composite Provider built on top.

As specified in the post.

The transport fails with an error Adapter "HANA view name" (HDB) has no implementation Source field XXX does not exist".

Creating a source system in DEV and QA like specified in "2043320 - Open ODS view: RSLOGSYSMAP in after import" does not help.
