Hide Action Reason

Can we hide Action Reason instead of deleting it.

or can we change it so that it cann't be choosable.

Hi,

as 'Action' and 'Reason for Action' are linked to one another, the best thing to do is to create a 'dummy' reason for action for each and every action.

Set the numeric value of the reason to " " (i.e.<blank>) as well as the text for this reason for action.

That's all there is to it without changing standard SAP.

PS: Although changing screens is customizing, I would certainly not be in favor for this in this specific case.

IN the screen modifications please hide the field MASSG.

Go To SPRO-> PErsonnel Management-> Personnel Admin->Customizing procedure->Change action Menu- Define reason for personnel action .

In this node don't assign any reason with the personnel action.
