We have created 3 simple tables to test the behavior of Right join in HANA Calculation view. The table data are as below
We have created calculation view joining tables T1, T2 & T3. First inner join between tables T1 and T2 followed by right join with table T3. The calculation view design is as below
The data preview of the view is as below
But the expected result is below which we get by swapping the right table to left table and making the join type as left join. Null values were expected in A column
When we try the same thing using SQL SCRIPT we get the expected result in both right join and left join scenarios. Why is the difference when use the calculation view. Is this the functionality of the right join in Calculation view or a bug ?
