Guest User locked

Hi All,

Actually the guest user in portal found locked and it syas that locked by "systemuser".

When tried to unlock it an change password and tried login with guest ,it gives error as no roles dassigned.

But is it member of default groups .

Let me know what to do??Can i assign administrator roles to guest,is this recommended/permitted??

Dear Ajay

First try to assign some custom role to guest user, and try to unlock.

Even if it is not working delete the user and created new guest user.

Now when i found tha tguest as well as Administrator users are locked ,i tried to activate the emergency user sap* in config tool.

After restarting the WAS and trying to login to VA or useradmin of portal with sap* was gettign error that authentication failed.

Then just i tried with administrator user and was able to login.

This is strange and the user.superadmin is activated and set as true.Why i am able to login with administrator and another users??

Any suggestions??Using EP 7 SP 15

Yes Jitender, that was my doubt.

Thats why i raised the question.

Can you tell me how to check the permissions??

Did you check the permission for that user.?

It is not advisable at to assign the administrator role to guest user.

Actually this is a system user and quite important in certain cases.

So i fear why to delete it.But as i asked earlier ,what if i give administrator role to it.
