Difference between book quantity vs stock in MB5B

Hi community

I am facing some challenges in Physical inventory document

The booked quantity is taken from table ISEG field BUCHM not from MB5B report. This situation is causing big problems because the counted quantity is less than the book quantity (copied from table ISEG field BUCHM).

In MB5B the stock quantity is 19600 KG

So how can we fix this problem because the counted quantity is 19600 Kg and the stock in MB5B is 19600 Kg. Because of wrong stock in ISGE (BUCHM) is 33100 Kg there will be posting to loss account which is not good for the management of inventory

I'm not able to tell you exactly how and why ISEG-BUCHM field was updated without access to you system.

Take a look at the following:

Hi

"Freeze book inventory" indicator is set (IKPF-XBUFI = X) in the physical inventory document.

"Adj. Book Inventory" field (T159L-XBUIB) is blank in the customizing.

When "Adj. Book Inventory" is empty, the system does not carry out any adjustment to the book quantity ISEG-BUCHM once it has been determined. I still don´t understand why the system is showing me wrong book quantity based on table ISGE field BUCHM.

I couldn't find the reason why I am getting the wrong book quantity as you can see in my screen above. So I will adjust the book inventory.

ISEG-BUCHM is not the current stock, it's the stock at the time of counting. See documentation of the field:

Short Text
    Book quantity immediately prior to count

Definition
    Indicates the book inventory of this physical inventory item at the time
    of the count.

Use
    The quantity counted is not adopted as the new book inventory balance
    until any differences have been corrected by means of an inventory
    adjustment posting.

Before we started this physical inventory process we downloaded the stock at the time of counting and we selected the freezing option to avoid the stock change during goods movement. So the stock at that date 29/06/2018 it was 19300 KG in MB5B, MC.9, MC.1 and MB52. We don´t understand the reason why the table ISGE (BUCHM) is showing a quantity of 33100 KG. This situation is happening in some storage locations and is causing big problems to management.

May you please help me finding out a way to put the correct Book quantity instead of that one taken from table ISEG (BUCHM). The right book quantity should be taken from MB5B, the one we download as excel file in 29.06.2018
