Hi,

I am using EP 7.3. on IE 11. when I am uploading multiple files or run XML forms builder system I get this message and it's not working. I tried to solve this problem(setting security browser https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/1635726) but it's not working.

Can you please explain how we can resolve this error?

Thanks,

Anthikar

Hi Anthikar,

Can you confirm if you have added the url for the xfbuilder application to the Exception Site List as indicated by the error message?

See the following resource for steps on how to do so -

https://java.com/en/download/faq/exception_sitelist.xml

I would expect that this should resolve the issue but if not, then this may be occurring due to changes implemented in Java Revisions a couple of years ago which resulted in Java Applets within KM being unable to run when Java Security Settings were set to High or Very High.

Patch fixes were released for the KMC-CM components across all portal versions but if you are running on EP 7.30 SP11 (or lower), it's possible that the fix is not present on your system. Please see SAP Note 1972761 - KM applets are not working with Java 7 update 51 for further details of this issue and the SP releases containing the patch fixes. If you are using a portal version in which the patch fix has not been applied, then in order to run Java Applets (including xfbuilder) it would be necessary to apply the latest KMC-CM patch to your system or to reduce the security level to medium in the Java Security Settings.

Kind regards,

Cathal
