Hello Seniors,
WRT TM, we r maintaing -ve TM n we have to upload the Time data (Clock In/out) to SAP system.
I know that we have to use report RPTEUP10 into IT2011 with IT0050 but my questions are
1) How to maintain Clock In n Clock out time in IT2011( by using Time Event Type) bcoz at time we can only enter one data(i,e clock In or clock out) ?
2) Will i have to design any templates to upload if i use ABAPER, n pls tell me where will the data get saved i.e data like clock out time, total hrs worked, Diff of Hrs ?
3) Using PTMW can we view the time sheet data, which we upload in IT2011?
Please help me in this regard in detail with the customization steps i have to do if reqd for this to reflect
thanks in Advance

Hi,
1) How to maintain Clock In n Clock out time in IT2011( by using Time Event Type) bcoz at time we can only enter one data(i,e clock In or clock out) ?
If you know how to prepare an LSMW, prepare one and use for mass upload. BDC is not required for IT2011 upload. Since IT0050 is mandatory for maintaining IT2011, you can create one LSMW for IT0050 as well.
2) Will i have to design any templates to upload if i use ABAPER, n pls tell me where will the data get saved i.e data like clock out time, total hrs worked, Diff of Hrs ?
If you upload the data through LSMW, or a BDC, you need to prepare a template. Based on your inputs only, BDC or LSMW will be prepared.
3) Using PTMW can we view the time sheet data, which we upload in IT2011?
Yes, whatever is filled in PTMW can be viewed in IT2011.

Hi,
Employee clock in and clock out timings are stored in IT2011. These are actual timings. To maintain this IT2011, maintenance of IT0050 is mandatory. Config settings of IT0050 and IT2011 are made in Personnel Time Events Node in Time Management.
If you are using TMW, configure TMW as well. Frankly, I have not worked on TMW extensively.
Hi Pavi Kumar,
If you are using - ve time mgmt, there is no need to maintain employee attandence data in IT2011or IT2002.
Just maintain the 'Time Mgmt status' as '9' in IT0007 and leave it. SAP by default understands that the employee has worked for the whole month, you just need to update paid and unpaid absences in IT2001, whenever necessary.
This will sort out the issues.
PS: Only in +ve time mgmt, you need to maintain attendance and absence of an employee for which you will be using IT2011, IT0050, IT2002, IT2001...etc

Santhosh
Thanks a lot Santhosh, your reply cleared my doubt, but my client wants to keep a track of the total num of hrs an employee works/day n they have TRD from which the data(clock in/out) gets saved in Excel sheet,
So is thr anyways tat we can maintain this data which is in excel sheet into SAP system..??? n also can u jus brief me on updating paid n unpaid absences in IT2001?
Thanks a lot once again

Hi Pavi Kumar,
Though you have maintained the Time Mgmt Status as 9 in IT0007, you can still go ahead and maintain the employe Clock-IN and Clock-OUT in IT2011, but to maintain the same you need to maintain IT0050 first, as both the Info Types are interlinked.
The enduser can always go to this IT2011 mention the required date and view the employees Clock-IN and Clock-OUT status.
Thus you can address the clients scenario with respect to time capture.
And regarding the paid and unpaid classification in IT2001 you need to do set of configurations in SPRO.
Suggest you close this thread if your doubt related to your question of -ve time mgmt and employee time capture posted is cleared and post a new thread for the paid and unpaid leave configuration.
regards,
Santhosh
Hi,
Santosh is right. If you want to just capture the In/Out times, you have to maintain 0050 and 2011. You can use uploading tools like LSWM or batch input to upload data into SAP-IT2011. However, in -ve TM, you cannot evaluate data in 2011. For example, you have to generate some allowance based on No. hours booked, the -ve TM schema will process based on hours booked in IT 2002 and NOT based on data in 2011.
Otherwise, for -ve TM, you do not need to upload data to IT2011.
Hope this clarifies the issue.
Good Luck!

to upload time events create BDC
2)2) Will i have to design any templates to upload if i use ABAPER,
ya you need to create template for IT2011, and time events data will be saved in TEVEN table
3) Using PTMW can we view the time sheet data, which we upload in IT2011?
you can view planned specification, time pairs(in/out)
