Dear All,

I create a PO and release.

Release Indicator i maintain 4 for both 1 & X .

Now after releasing the document once. I make some more changes e.g. Qty change.

It goes to 1st Version

but when i go to ME29N to release again,

system show me only msg that Doc# can not be released. even i make some change

but if i go to PO change and in Version management if i make final Version check manually then

only i able to release.

Problem is that after any change, System revoke release stregty automatically

please help me

Reagrds,

Pardeep Malik

Hi

In that case deactivate version management, then any change which affects the value of PO will trigger new release. If version is active first you need to release the version, then only release strategy will be reset. You cannot release while new version is in progress.

Thanks

Configure the release indicator changeable paramater to 6 which will enable revalidation of release strategy for any change even after the PO is printed.

Hi Pradeep,

May be if you can go for option:

2 - Changeable, no new determination of strategy.

With this it will be sure that release strategy is trigerred only for the first time and subsequently you will not have any release.

Tolerance for value changes during release

Specifies the percentage by which the value of the requisition may be increased (as a result of a change to the requisition) after the release procedure has begun.

If the Value Change % Field is blank and if you set 4 as Changable Indicator, the system determined New Release Strategy after every change in your PO.

Maintain some value in the Value Change % field, then the system redetermines new release strategy only if the change in value is above the limit given in that field.

If the value change is below the Value Change % then system doesnt redetermine new release strategy
