MIGO : System propose in unrestricted Instead of QC.

Hi,

SAP Gurus,

I have maintain following setting

Material master -

QM View -

---

Inspection setup----

---

Inspection type 01 & 08 Active with Tick mark on Post to inspection stock & Tick on automatic UD.

Process: STOu2026..Deliveryu2026.PGIu2026u2026u2026GR through MIGO (Goods received against Outbound delivery)

Here I am facing problem: My requirement is "as QM view is maintain" The system should propose GR in quality (instead of Unrestricted ) But it is not happening System propose unrestricted only

Dear Parag,

Do you have any userexit been used while doing MIGO. please check with MM for the same. IF so please take the help of ABAP and check with debugging.I have faced this issue earlier.

But my issue is It works OK for Some plants & doesnu2019t work for other plants.

I want to know the IMG setting required to maintain.

Pl check in spro-> QM-> Basic settings -> Maintian settings at plant level if the receiving plant is maintained

HI Parag,

Check

1) Have U maintained the Q info record for this material vendor combination ? In the inspection control tab no inspection so that is the reason.

2)I think U have not maintain DMR

please let me know what is the movement type you are using for the STO. Please try activating 05 inspection type also. It might work

One more thing is It works OK for other plant

Only some plant are not moving material in QC after GR.

Parag,

Check - during GR in "where" tab in your case stock type would be "unrestricted use" but it should be "Quality inspection".

I have made same setting so many times but same reply (Martial is proposed in unrestricted instead of Quality)

I think there might be plant specific QC setting .

I case of STO when outbound delivery happens it create 08 inspection lot at receving plant.( Say you have craeted STO for moving material from X plant to Y)

kindly check for receving plant Y wheather yuo have maintained 08 inspection type and not 01.

Make sure that you had maintained the inspection setup before the STO was made.

Also please let me know the movement type you are using for the stock transfer
