Class charateristic assigned to master inspection charateristic

Hi Experts,

I am working on a scenario as described below.

1. Create a chrateristic for pressure mesurement

2. Assign it to class

3. Create two types Master inspection chrateristic

using class chrateristic & without class charateristic

4. Use both the MIC in Task list operation

5.Assign ispection point in task list , in my case Fun location

6. Create inpection order as use this task list in it

7. inspection lot is getting created

8. While doing the Result recording the operation with MIC having class charateristic as ref is not coming

Can you please look in to it.

Hi Amar,

Can you pls check :

1. You have mention proper control key in your operations?

2. You have maintained sampling procedures in task list.

3. Also check whether your MIC is in released state.

I hope you have done correctly for the above Q's, then,

4. Check whehter you have not mentioned your both MIC to the same operation. Make two operations in task list and to each operations assign MIC.

Actually there is not much difference if you take ref or not. Only the parameters in class char will transfer while creating MIC (like lower spe limit upper sp limit ) but afterwards both are same as far as tasklist is concerned.

have you assinged the both MIC to single operation .also check in the inspection lot whether you can able to view the 2 MIC

also check the task list consistency in the task list change mode and check .

also what is the type of MIC ie whether complete copy model or incomplete

Hi,

I want to map the scenario in which if i enter the result for a particular MIC in Task list , the measuring document will get generated for fun loc having same charateristic

1. In task list 2 operations are there

2. One operation is having MIC which is not refrenced to any Class charateristic

3. Second operation is having MIC which is refrenced to a class charteristic

4. By default if we enter class chrateristic in MIC the type Ref to charateristic will get activated.

5. How to check the task list consitency?

hi,

while doing the result recording only 1st operation is appearing having MIC which is not having any ref class charateristic. Why second operation is not coming.

Presently iam not able to access the system ,form the task list header check in the menu bar i think it will be Goto>Task list consistency

if you want to generate the measurement document automatically from the result recording ,then i think you have to create MIC with complete copy model as well as the measuring point for the Funtional location should have been used the same characterisitic that is used while creating the MIC .

Hi,

I am not able to find task list consitency function in "Goto" menu

When you use class charateristic automaticaly the status gets chaned to ref to charateristic only. You can not change it manually.

Please tell me why the operation with 2nd MIC not coming .

kindly check in the task list header or opeartion overview you can find the Check Tasklist consistency .as i said before i cannot able to acees the SAP wight now.

Hi ,

I am able to find out the reason. While creating the MIC with class charateristic , i havent ticked the sampling procedure tick box.After this i have to enter the sampling procedure.

By doing this i am able to see the operation having MIC with class charateristic assigned to it is coming in the result recording screen.
