strange issue

Hi,

We are facing this issue while creation of Transfer order for

deliveries.

Scenario is as follow :

we are creating a transfer order for a delivery so that

material is moved to GI shipping area.

we want to pick from a bin F001 but system do not allow to pick

from this bin, instead system always defaults bin(H039) where stock is not

enough and hence we are not able to create the TO.

In order to post GI for delivery, we tried to move stock from F001 to

H039 but system gives same error.

P.S. : We have not maintained fixed bin

Hi

Please check material master - WM view, which stogae type indicator is set in stock removal strategy. Then check the config for the same and search sequence for storage type.

Hi

You can move stock from F001 to H039. But u have not mentioned your methodogy.

And if you want to change the bin in TO, Please go to your Storage type in IMG-LE-WM-Master data-Storage type, give "Dst bin ch. during confirm" as 1 i.e. Storage bin can be changed during confirmation.

Hello,

Please check whether you have maintained the storage type in storage type serach sequence where the stock is laying.Also check the storage removal indicator maintained in material master in WM view is included in storage type search.

1) Check the startegy for picking in config by taking into consideration "stock removal indicator".

This is mainatined in Wm1 view of material master data.

2) Then check from which storage type system is picking the mateial.

3)Check what is the picking strategy of this storage type.

Then you will come to know the nature of determinig the bin in the storage type.

You can change the bin number manually during TO creation.

You can transfer the stock manually in a bin by LT01 movement type 999.
