Hello everybody!

Please help me with this.

Why doesn't SM20 log names of terminals if it system users or users who have the administrator authority?

i don't know what release you are on - so that could be a bug ... but your assumptions are not correct for a bug-free and working SM19, SM20. if the terminal-ID is missing, you are dealing with an RFC of either type F, S, or (i have been told ... never saw for myself) of type C, where:

F = internal RFC

C = CPIC RFC

S = system

or with the login of a batch-user.

since SAP developed abap-statements like 'in separate task' it is possible for a workprocess to submit another which could will an internal login but, since it is a child-process, no additional information on the terminal is provided for those RFCs.

neither do you get such an information from a batch-user (for obvious reasons )

Hi

pls check in SM19 whether in audit classes as per the requirement its been checked or not and simultanously you can go to the detailed disply option ...at the top of it where there might be some selection is missing

Hope this works

Thx
