Minimum Os patch level

I am about to install cluster SAP ECC 6.0 on AIX 6.1 with DB2 9.1

What should be minimum OS (AIX) patch level before starting SAP installation. ???

What file system whould you recomend for AIX high availabiltiy ??

I am not aware that there is a specific file system should be used for HA. Most customers use JFS2 - so I would suggest to use it.

Hi,

JFS2 file system is suggested for AIX.

also make sure that you keep required file sytems in cio mode as it is required for HA.

Hi

I am using JFS2 and

/sapmnt

/saptrans

/usr/sap

are all NFS mounted on node A and globally exported for Node B
