VA05 : Save Layout Option is deactive..

Greetings..

In T code VA05.....i need to set the user specific menu .....

in my case Save Option is not available when i chose field ...

How to save the layout in VA05..as Save option is not avaialble......

Dear,

Use SU3 go to parameter ID type SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN and assign value A t

Next go to

VA05 then settings select layout and choose administration. click on default setting for your layout and

save

Please make a search the forum. This question has been answered many times.

Go to TCode SU01, select the Parameter "SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN" and maintain X and save.

Hi, I appreciate the fact that this has been answered many times however I have tried what you are suggesting and it still won't allow me to choose Save or Admin--they're still greyed-out...

What next?

OK, nevermind. It makes a difference if you use a small a or a capital A in the parameters...

it works just like you said

Hi,

try with the above 3 guys telling that is absolutely correct. go to SU01/SU3 ( to ur ID) select parameters tab and then scrol down and press F4 select SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN and in the next field select A or X then try it will allow u to save ur own variant.(the save icon come to screen variant selection screen)

Dear SAP PP

Use SU3, go to parameter ID type SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN and assign value "A" to that.

Next go to settings, select layout and choose administration.

Select your Layout & save it.
