Not sure about other books, but 《Sap Hr : Om, Pd & Training - Tech ReferenceBy P.K. Agrawal》is really precise and clear. It saved me from drowning in lots of SAP concepts. Its content is comprehensive, organized in clear logic. Its words are easy to follow for non-English native readers.

This book touched core functions of SAP HCM ECC6, which are not changed much ever since it's introduced. So even the book is published in year 2008, it still relevant.

Dear Pabitra,

I recommend to start by SAP standard trainings.

SAP HR050 (Business Processes in Human Capital Management) is 5 days training course as an overview of all SAP HR modules.

The next can be HR505 (Organizational Management) or HR 305 (Configuration of Master Data). The first one is a 3 days course and the second one is 5 days.

Hi Farzana,

This book is fine if you are a beginner in SAP HCM.

However, Instead of reading this book you can attend course HR-305 (or even try downloading it from the web).

Personally I don't recommend books which deal with general topic, as this book.

However, all the books for specific SAP HCM applications are highly recommended.

Thanks Bashir....why I am talking about SAP other books instead of only going through certification stuff to get the conceptual knowledge as SAP HCM exam is quite different from other SAP certifications, as lot of scenario based questions specially in payroll and time management in SAP HCM certification

I am looking for 2009 version of THR10, THR12, TERP01, TERP31 and SM001. I have 2006 versions.

Also if you happen to have the past exam papers please advice me on that as well.
