Webservice Error ECC_BATCHIDQR

Former Member

Hi,

We have downloaded sample project "QA_eSOA" and trying to configure it back to our ECC system.

As part of this, while configuring webservice for ECC_BATCHIDQR we are not able to move further after clicking "Next" button in action block. Below are the details.

URL for WSDL is as below.

http://XX.XXX.XX.XXX:8000/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/ECC_BATCHIDQR?sap-client=100&wsdl=1.1

We are able to see WSDL XML being generated when we execute this URL through browser.

But when we gave this URL in webservice action block and after clicking "Next" nothing happening.

No errors are shown and didn't show next screen.

Can I get some help.

Thanks,

Amara.

On the main MII menu under System Management - System Administration do you have a proxy configured? If not try entering the appropiate details for your environment.

Another way to test this is by placing the wsdl url in an http loader action and then tracing out the string content to see if the wsdl is loader or an error was produced.

Jamie,

There is no proxy configured in xMII system admin. How ever as you suggested I used HTTP Loader action and log trace to just to see whether is it generating any wsdl. I am able to see wsdl. I copy pasted the content which I got it when I executed the transaction with trace in to a file with name "ECC.XML" and opened in explorer and I am able to see well formed xml.

I tried to copy the content into this message but I got an error when saying exceeded 15000 charecters.

Is there any place I can check this?

Thanks,

Amara.

Jamie,

I want to send you the wsdl content I got from HTTP loader to you by e-mail if it is OK with you.

Just to have a clear idea what I am getting.

Thanks,

Amara.

I was able to run this WSDL on my system without issue. What version of MII are you using?

Srinivas,

are there any errors shown in the NetWeaver Log?

Michael,

I checked for them in xMII Menu->Message Services->Message Monitor / Failed Messages and None are listed in this search.

If this is not the right place to see errors for this then please let me know where exactly I could find them.

Thanks,

Amara.

Srinivas,

you will find more error messages outside MII in the NetWeaver Log.

- start the NetWeaver Administrator: "http://<server>:<port>/nwa"

- choose "Monitoring"

- choose "Logs and Traces"

- choose a predefined view. Start with "SAP Logs". You may also have a look at "Default Trace"

Here you will find hints on what is going on.

Micheal,

When I checked logs under "SAP Logs" soon after accessing webservice from xMII workbench I found below records. I can see in below log that SLD read failed at domain. I am not sure what is the work around for and also I am not sure whether this is causing the problem.

Can I get some hekp in this regard.

Thanks,

Amara.
