Can we use Custom table instead of standard SAP THEMES DB table for registering Custom UI5 themes

Hi All,

We are creating Custom themes for our SAPUI5 applications in Hana system, which requires theme registration in SAP standard DB table ( THEMES ) based on below approach:

We have concern of changing SAP standard package , as we might run into issues during Hana upgrade.

Is there a possibility of using Custom table rather than Standard table for registering custom themes?

Yes you can save it in any table which you wish. Later you can retrieve the theme and push it to the Themes table, after the upgrade.

The Theme designer picks up only from the standard tables and it will be necessary to keep these files in those tables only.
