Hello gurus
I am receiving the following message while deleting a shipping point assigned to a plant: " Picking locations still assigned to the plant". Please guide me in resolving this.
Warm Regards
Prashant Joshi.
Dear Prashant,
This generally happens when you copy a standard config while creating your enterprise structure in IDES.
you will see that to your plant most of the shipping points are assigned automatically.
to delete those just go to "OVL3" and for all non required shipping points check the combination of your plant and St Lo , and delete these entries. it will solve your problem.

Paresh

Hi,
this is the chain of assignments, so we have to delete from downstairs before deleting the top level.
so follow the system messages before deleting.

sk

Hi,
This error comes because the shipping point you are trying to delete is still assigned to a storage location Through Tcodes OVL2 (shipping point determination) and OVL3(Picking location determination).
If you want to delete the shipping point assignment with plant first your have to delete these assignments.

Abhee.
