Hierarchy nodes as Dimensions for Design Studio

Hi experts,

I try to develop a Dashboard with Design Studio with a chart which level 2 node of Cost Center hierarchy representation.

On its DS I applied a filter with level 3 node of Cost Center hierarchy, then the view of the chart change to level 3 and I don't find the way to keep level 2 node. Can I force the Chart component to show a required hierarchy node even if I filter it with nodes below?.

Is any way to consider hierarchy node in BW as a characteristic to work on Design Studio like a dimension?

If you can post screenshots and also any script code you are applying for filtering, it will make it easier to replicate the issue and advise accordingly.

Hi Mustafa,

Finally I resolve it by creating Cost Center group as a Characteristic dimension which and I use as filter in Design Studio. Then when I filter the Chart Data Source with it, the Cost Center with hierarchy node 2 dimensions visibility is not changed.
