F4 Help: How to get selected value on screen

Hello,

I working with Personas 3.0 SP5 and want to show after F4 selection not only the selected key, but also one of the related text fields;

E.g. I have a F4-field for plant and a text field for plant beside; if plant 1234 was selected from F4 list, what is the easiest way to show also the related name of plant 1234?

what do you mean with a script, e.g. via call FM "RFC_READ_TABLE" ?

Do you have any example?

This requirement I have several time, because only showing the key w/o showing any description is not really user friendly.

So it would be good, if a standard solution would be provided.

You can use a script to add a text with the plant name.
