Hi Friends,

Kindly tell me what is month end activity? What are the process we will be doing during month end activity? Which transaction code we will use for all ? Kindly let me know that please.

Hi,

For month end activity,

Post all the inventories difference against the stock & physical inventory.

Close the previous period & open the new period in Tcode. OMSY,MMPV.

Last month production consumption issue against the production order if pending any.

Allow previous month period for back date posting in any emergency.

IF Metrial ledger is active in ur company then CO will make the Costrun before GR/GI in that month.

Hi Prasath,

Month end activity is MMPV- period closing.

Here you will open the current period for MM postings.

Period closing from MMPV, which goes one opening (and at same time it closes last period) periods,which is reflected in OMSY and which allows you to post the GR docs.
