there are some delection screen fileds which are mandatory and you are not passing the same.

also if you have some bapi or BDC or FM creating some transactional data, it is failing because thhat transaction is having some mandatory filds.

try executing the saem in foreground and check in debug what is happening.

    Hi Preet,

I think may be you are missed the filling the mandatory fields..while creating your variant.

    for seeing those

you can do one thing go to SM37 select your batch job and put JDBG (just JDBG not /nJDBG or /oJDBG) in the command line and hit enter..it goes to the debugging mode.

so that you can replicate your job there.. and you find out by your own where that error message is coming.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Please check if the variant fills in all the parameters or select-options values which are mandatory//obligatory...

because of which you are getting an error message as they are not filled by the variant...

change the variant for that and then check if it works...

    I am sure it should...

      Hi Babu,

      may be true,

but the error message which he receives is "Fill in all required entry fields" which generally comes only when there are any obligatory field and its value is not entered.

      Siddarth

    Hi Preet,

Please check ur variant if u have already given data for all the mandatory fields in the selection screen. If not then give all the mandatory field values in the variant and execute it again.

    Keerthi.
