lock document through workflow

workflow will trigger at status discount approval, then the document should be in uneditable mode till the approval process is complete, i have done the approval process but i dont know how to lock the document

after workflow starts and unlock the document .. please anyone suggest me how to do this

Hi,

Check Lock Objects, Other wise restrict by providing authorization.
