Hi,
Could you please let me know what is the difference between Freight costing and shipment costing, if it is same , please explain the config and the transaction processes.

Shipment costs:
The total costs involved in the shipment of a product. Not just pure freight costs, but also cleaning costs, insurance, and other costs as well.

Pls correct me if iam wrong, i have an understanding of freight costing, it is like create condition records for KF00 and HD00 and determine it in the sales order and then in the billing document.
or
do we have to process like create delivery document VL01n, and then shipment document VT01n and create shipment cost document VI01 in which we have to determine the shipment condition typer and its values.

Freight Conditions
Freight rates are the basis for the shipment costs calculation. The totals of the different freight rates that are used for a particular transaction give the shipment costs. Freight rates are stored in the system in the form of condition rates that can be created at a very detailed level.
