Hello Ameya,
> SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP this job terminated in client 000 due to reason
> SAP BW system
some BW related reports can only be started in the productive client of the system, otherwise you will get this BRAIN 009 message.
SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP is the job starting the data collectors of CCMS that are configured to be started in background. As you surely know, not all data collectors are configured to run each hours. Some of them indeed run each hour, others are maybe started each two, four, or twelve hours. If such a data collector (starting another interval than 3600 seconds) has an error, you will get the error message about it not each run of SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP but only sometimes during the day.
Now pull these two facts together:
1. BW report raises error message BRAIN 009
2. not all data collectors are started each hour
Voila: one of the data collectors is a BW specific data collector that
1. has to run in the productive client
2. is not started each hour.
Simply schedule SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP in the productive client.

Hi Michael,
See now i am thinking
Of all the data collectors that r being scheduled every hour some are BW specific data collectors and hence should be run in BW specific client only and hence those r failing.
This job should not be scheduled hourly but at some specific time i.e BW specific data collector is not started each hour
Correct me if am wrong
I searched in help.sap.com
1 It says this job is used for BW monitor in CCMS and is scheduled to run hourly by default.
So all the runs of Monitoring objects displayed under process chains are monitored by this job which means its BW specific and shud not be successful in client 000 so how cum some jobs r successful???
Correct me if i am wrong
or is it possible that some monitoring objects r not BW specific
or is it dat the Client copy wasnt done properly??
Any suggestions
regards
ameya
Hello Ameya
> Correct me if am wrong
yes, you are.
SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP is not only responsible for BW monitoring.
It starts a lot of different data collectors from different areas, e.g. database, operating system, system information, ALE etc.. In your case also some BW specific data collectors. And all these different collectors have their own collecting interval (e.g. some collectors regarding database are started each four hours, collectors regarind system information each 12 hours and so on). It looks like the data collector for BW is also configured to be start not each hour but another interval.
I'm not sure but I think the data collector for process chains is not the one raising the BRAIN 009 error.
As written before, changing the job so that it is started in the productive client will avoid the message.

Hi Michael,
Well i referred this to my senior and he said that
This job collects data from all clients through RFC
So this error occurs when there is an error in RFC connection to client 900 for that specific times
According to you this job failed coz
They were not supposed to start at that interval of time???
or like dey r not supposed to be scheduled hourly and dats why some are failing???
Hi,
As yours is a BW system please check below SAP Notes.
Note 122679 - You may only work in client XXX. Brain 009
Note 116432 - Copying productive client 000 in the BW System
Note 116811 - Working with BW in client 000 not possible
Note 316923 - Termination of program RS_CLIENT_COPY_BW
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sushil

Hi,
"User HOUSEKEEPING can only work in client 900" means user HOUSEKEEPING does not exist in client 000. You can run this job only in client 900 as user masters are client dependant.
Also you can create a new user id "HOUSEKEEPING" in client 000 & run the same job it from client 000.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Sushil
