Database size history not getting updated in DB02

Hi Experts,

This is really a baffling problem for newbie like me

In DB02 for DEV and QAS i checked, database size history is shown till date 12 th march 2009

but for PRD system it is showing till date 22nd jan 2009. After that no data is recorded

the systems are SAP ECC 6.0 MS SQL Server database Windows NT platform.

SAP_BASIS level is 14

so i found this note 1144935 which says RSMSSDBSZHIST is used to collect space history.So this program is working fine in DEV and QAS but not in PRD

This program uses data from MONI data. My wild guess there some problem with moni data of PRD system

Some questions

1) Does DB02 transaction gets its data from SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERF_MONITOR(scheduled daily on system)??

2) How do i check MONI data values??

Also some alterations should be done in above program according to the note after application sp13 but none have been performed in 3 systems still it is working fine for DEV and QAS but not for PRD.

I have reached dead end

Hi Joshi,

Run the program rsdb_tdb in sa38 and check whether database statistics have been updated or not.

One more interesting fact i found was

SAP_COLLECTOR_PERF_MONITOR was not scheduled at all in month of JAN

From month of FEB it was scheduled and is finishing successfully

Is this main cause of actual problem???

Hai,

Are you able to see data for the month of Feb.

You have stated that you can see data till Jan 22nd, if the job was not scheduled in Jan then how did you get the data till Jan 22nd?

Is the data available in DB02 till date from Feb when the job has started to run?

Check SAP Note: 73945.

Hai,

I guess there is some Time zone mismatch in your system, please check it.

Also go through the SAP Notes 73945 and 48598.
