FI & CO deltas

Can any body tell me , how to set up deltas in FI extraction & co-PA extraction.

You have to first activate the datasource in RSA5.

Use full update Infopackage to fetch data to BI

Then create Initialise delta infopackage.

after that use Delta infopackage to fetch data

CO-PA Delta:

Generally COPA data sources are delta capable ( Directly data can be loaded into Info cube ). They provide additive image.You can check this by putting ur COPA data source name in RSA2 in R/3 system, and check the delta capability in "Delta Process" field. It should be "CUBE". You need not need to manually define delta.Just do a "init" with data transfer and set a just "delta" in your process chain.

when you first time load the data through infopackage u will get these two options,After Initialization package gets uploaded in the Infoprovider, you can create the infopackage for Delta schedulling, and COPA is Delta enabled only.
