Print out html to spool, possible ?

Hi all,

i need to create a complex report (more lines, cell color and so on) html format is for me the best way. So i want to use the class CL_GUI_HTML_VIEWER, create my report and after i would like to send it in spool. Why in spool ? Because after i want to use program RSTXPDFT4 to convert spool into PDF.

Hi,

You can use smartforms and then convert its output to PDF format.

Yes Pranaya i know Smartforms, but the report i must create is complex and Smartforms is not easy for my need so i'm looking for new way.

And with Crystal Report ? It's possible to create a Crystal report from SAP ECC5 and save it to PDF format ?

Yes Sandra i can use SFP, but what is a Adobe form ? What is the different with Smartforms ?

Adobe form = pdf. You create an adobe form "template" with SFP.

The form designer has many more graphical possibilities than smartforms.

You must install/configure ADS on a java stack to be able to fully use adobe forms.

However, you may just test SFP and explore form designer possibilities without ADS, only activation requires ADS (you must activate if you want to generate a PDF form from a program).
