Calculation Base in ECM

Dear Friends

In ECM,though the Calculation base is assigned as ASAL in Compensation plan payroll data while having it displayed it in Portal ,in case of Salaried employees annual salary is getting populated whereas in case of Hourly employees we have only the monthly amount reflected.

Am I missing any link on this or is it the way it happens as per standard.Dont we have an option of having both the salaries displayed in annual figures.
