HI Guys

when i run a Crystal report it gives me the error noted in the heading, the window then closes.

What could be the problem, im guessing the db that was specified when creating the Crystal report has changed and nw it is giving a prob?

HI Euston,

HI Bishal

I have not done any of the mentioned, i had a report that was working, but now when i run the report from SAP through the launch application button it gives me a error "cannot connect to SQL server".

I have not changed anything on the report, could this be that the SQL server name that the report was created on has changed and now the new server name is different?

Hi

You have figured out the problem by yourself .

Go to the crystal report -rpt - open the file and try to run it .

It will probaly ask you to put server name and ....

Change your servername ....

Run the report and save it .

Now, try from launching from SAP --

See if it works .

Hi

Your question is too vague to answer .

Lets do some troubleshooting

1 .Did you try creating new connection in crystal report ?

2. After you made changes ,did you validate your database ?

3. What kind of error you are seeing ?

4.Did you make any changes in your report ?

If you could answer these answer ,probably can soolve your issue .

Thank you
