Hi,
Zero balance clearing account arises when you are implementing the New GL with document splitting. The amount in zero balance clearing account appears when there are some cross transaction between the Business area, Profit center or Segments .
If we will take the balance of the Zero Balance Clearing Account for whole company it will be definitely zero.

Hi Dipthi,
Can you please make it more clear that what is Zero Balance Account? Is it some GL you are talking about?
Thanks & Regards,

zero balance account is for splitting purpose, this account is used to ensure the zero balance at splitting rules, however the account is always balanced on each FI document from general ledger point of view (not from the splitting rules).
sometime , we can treat the clearing account as transition account, because the account not impact the reporting. you can verifiy it from Financial Statment version.
