questions about sm13 and rsa7

hi experts,

i have some questions about sm13 and rsa7.

1.is it true: after i fill up the setup table, then the following update will be blocked in the sm13.if i haven't fill the set up table, the update will not be blocked in sm13.

2.if i delete the setup table content, where do the entrys in sm13 go?

3.if i delete the entry in sm13, what will happen? or what result does it lead to?

4.if i delete the entry in lbwq, what will happen? or what result does it lead to?

5.when initialization of the inventory finished, should i change the update mode in lbwe from serized V3 update to delta queue?

Hi Liu,

--> There is no relation between SM13 and setup tables.

Setup tables: For historic data. Those records already created and available.

SM13: For new records.

2.if i delete the setup table content, where do the entrys in sm13 go?

--> No relation.

3.if i delete the entry in sm13, what will happen? or what result does it lead to?

--> In SM13 we can see which records not processed properly. we can process manually. if we delete any unprocessed record, chances of missing data.

4.if i delete the entry in lbwq, what will happen? or what result does it lead to?

--> LBWQ: for any new and changed records. If data or entry deleted, data in update queue(LBWQ) will lost and not possible to upload into BW in Delta mode.

5.when initialization of the inventory finished, should i change the update mode in lbwe from serized V3 update to delta queue?

--> Its depends on requirement and no of records. We can choose Direct delta or Serialized or Unserialized updates only.

For Direct delta No Update queue available. Data directly written to Delta Queue(RSA7)

For Serialized and Unserialized Delta Queue available. Any Changes or creation of new records will be updated to Update Queue(LBWQ). Need to run V3 job to push records from Update Queue(LBWQ) to Delta Queue(RSA7)
