Change material type and price using BAPI

I use BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA for creating and changing materials. But I can't change material type and moving average price fields. Maybe I should use another BAPI for this...

Please advise.

I've changed material type with MMAM. But I don't know how to do it with BAPI...

maybe you should try it first manually with MMAM and MR21 to learn more about the problems.

you cannot change anymore the price with MM02 once the material was used.

changing of material types, can result in numerous error messages, hence it can only be done one by one manually.
