How to get CMS database schema name when CMS is not running

Dear All,

Is there any way to get details of CMS database schema name when CMS is not running in UNIX environment. CMS details were not recorded anywhere.

As CMS is not starting up we cannot launch CMC -> Settings to check for schema details.

When we launch cmsdbsetup.sh, it just provides the Oracle database name, but not CMS db schema that used.

BOXI R2

CMS Database: Oracle 9.2

OS: Solaris 8

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Purna.

Can you not check the TNSNAMES.ORA file to figure out which data source might be used by the CMS, since you already know the name of the instance/database?

Hi,

There are around 25+ CMS db schemas in that database/instance. Hence it is difficult to find out corresponding CMS db schema.

Is there any file in which this information tracked in installation folder. It is in UNIX environment.

Thanks,

Purna.

Since you know which DB is used, you can look into that DB for CMS DB tables and find your schema that way.
