We are in the midst of testing ChARM, and are unable to complete the "To be Approved" status of ZMCR because the document does not auto-populate the Configuration Item field when a phase cycle is selected.
Similarly, if ZMMJ is created directly (outside of ZMCR), the Configuration Item does not auto-populate or determine when a phase cycle is selected.
A Phase Cycle (SMIM) with Build Status is available... along with an active Tasklist. The Phase cycle is available for selection in ZMCR and ZMMJ.
Where should we look to resolve this issue? Please be specific with your answer because we have exhausted hours looking at answers.
Thanks in advance.
As Miguel Angel Arino Clarke pointed, there may be multiple production systems.
Or you might have duplicate configuration items created and the system is not able to identify the correct one. In the second case, you will have to archive the duplicate entries in the iBase.

Hello,
If there is more than one production system in the system landscape assigned to the Change cycle (or, there is more than one production system in the task list) , there will be no way for ChaRM to determine a configuration item automatically.
What do you see in IB52? What about CRM Web UI => MAster data => LMDB objects?
Have you made sure your user has enough authorizations for the configuration item display?
Best regards,
Miguel Ariño
