Negative stock

Dear All,

while taking report for a material in MB5B,the system shows received qty as 3. issued qty as 0 and closing stock as 0. opening stock as -3. we have analyzed all the movements for the material. But only movement type 101 is happened for that material and there is no other movement happened for that material. how to overcome this problem.

Hi Sankar,

Can you please check in MMBE, MB52 & MB51 & let us know what is the stock you find in them for this material?

Hi

Check it in OMJ1, for the particular plant or storgae location is allowed for negative stocks. pls check the check box against ur plant. if it is checked pls remove it. It will not allow negative stock.

There is no negative stock option for that plant. can you please how the report show this information ?because we found the same problems for no of materials .

some time after create P O & GRN indentor change the QTY in P R thats why in stock report system show the stock in nagitive.

please check
