Problems with posting change notice

Former Member

Hi,

A user created a posting change in Inventory Management, using transaction MB1B. Then he entered movement type 323, which is supposed to move material in quality inspection from one storage location to another. But he by mistake entered the same storage location in the receving storage location field and the source field.

Now I have problem with the posting change notice, I try to set the status to U (=processed) in transaction LU02, but I get the error message: "Dest. data is the same as source data in all fields". So therefore I cannot set the status to U.

I have read OSS note 384044 but there is not sufficicent stock left in quality inspection to reverse the material document.

Does anyone know how I can delete this posting change notice?

Would report (archiving posting change notices) RLREOU00 help me? What does it actually archive?

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Lars

Hi,

As I understand you get error message L2146 if you want to set its status to "U". As per OSS note 384044 you should cancel the material document but you have no sufficient stock.

I have two ideas:

1. Create the stockby MB1A + 202 > move the stock to from unrestricted to QI by MB1B + 322 > cancel the material document in MBST / MIGO > move the stock from QI to unrestricted by MB1B + 321 > eliminate the stock by MB1A + 201

2. SE16N + &SAP_EDIT > change LUBU-STATU to "U".

I would prefer solution 1 but if you cannot solve in other way you should validate solution 2.

Csaba
